E-Commerce Initiative
A&BC is currently working with ten diverse arts organizations to identify and test ways to use e-marketing techniques and the internet to grow and diversify arts audiences.
Market ResearchA&BC provides arts groups with access to a variety of subscription-only market research, and makes the latest on arts management available for free through its online resource collection, SmARTstart, and its e-commerce guide.
Arts Marketing WorkshopsA&BC-Chicago annually offers four workshops dedicated to arts marketing. 2007 topics include: Marketing to Asians, Maximinzing a Miniscule Advertising Budget, Blogs & Online Communities, and E-Mail Marketing.
Advanced Marketing Training ProgramA&BC-Chicago participates in the Arts & Business Council of Americans for the Arts biannual Advanced Training and Granting Program. Sponsored by
American Express, the program helps selected arts organizations capture the minds, hearts and wallets of today's arts customers. Two mid-sized arts organizations from Chicago participate in this competitive national program. Selected organizations attend a two four-day Audience Development Bootcamps and are eligible to apply for implementation funding.
National Arts Marketing Program (NAMP)

A&BC-Chicago is a proud participant in the
National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP), a program of Americans for the Arts which brings best practices in arts marketing to arts organizations throughout the United States. Every year, the National Arts Marketing Project culminates a national conference for arts professionals. The conference features four days of workshops, plenary sessions, roundtable discussions and sponsorship clinics focused led by top marketing and sponsorship experts from across the United States.
