What do you love most about volunteering with A&BC?
Volunteering with A&BC allows me to contribute to a cause that I am passionate about. It also provides me with the opportunity to learn more about the non-profit Arts community and culture in Chicago, meet with like-minded people, and help non-profit Arts organizations to continue creating art.

What does volunteering add to your life?
It gives me a tremendous sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. Volunteering can also be a relaxing and energizing escape from your day-to-day routine of work. Additionally, it provides you with the opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and experience.

What are some of your other interests?
Reading, traveling, music, theater and cinema.

What goals have you helped organizations reach?
As a BVA, I participated in projects concentrating on Business, Marketing and Financial plans. In one of the projects I participated, our BVA team implemented sound financial management practices for an organization. In another project, a marketing plan was created to support the strategic plan. Helping these relatively young organizations as they strive to achieve operational efficiency and long-term sustainability has been a rewarding experience.

Fun stuff: favorite food, pets, season, secret talent?
I used to play the accordion in my teens. I performed at several Balkan weddings and high school events.
