Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we share this news. Our dear friend and colleague Katie Kurcz passed away last week from cancer. She had the most beautiful soul. She had a way of connecting people and making friends with whomever she met. She was incredibly passionate about the transformative power of the arts and had such a profound impact on our world.
We at A&BC have loved having her leadership and friendship over the past 8 years. We have no doubt she touched hundreds of lives the same way she touched ours. The arts community has lost a true visionary and advocate.
Her family has not yet scheduled a memorial service. If you would like to share your condolences, please email us and we will share them with her family. Katie was deeply involved with Snow City Arts, an organization that provides arts education to hospitalized children.
