The Arts & Business Council of Chicago (A&BC) is delighted to introduce you to its Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) Class of Winter 2019! Five new consultants joined our skills-based volunteer program earlier this year, bringing with them professional experiences across multiple business disciplines: human resources, organizational management, strategic planning, communications, and more.

Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) has served Chicago, since 1985, by connecting skilled business professionals with nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in need of high-level assistance. The program strives to:
- Help organizations improve their operational and management practices;
- Deliver high-caliber, pro bono consulting services that might otherwise be unavailable;
- Create rewarding opportunities for business professionals who wish to contribute to their communities; and
- Stress the reciprocal relationship between the private sector and the arts, forging creative partnerships and connections.
Are you interested in lending your abilities to Chicago’s arts and cultural organizations? Make application to our program!
Four orientations are held each year, Saturday afternoons, between 2 – 5 p.m.
Our Next Orientation: Saturday, April 20, 2019, 2 – 5 p.m. Apply by Friday, April 5, 2019 for program consideration.
